American Federal is pleased to announce the arrival of ALTERNATE LOGIN ID to Online Banking.  All online banking customers will be able to choose a new User ID to replace their Social Security Numbers (SSNs) for login identification.  When this happens, you will be asked to choose a USER ID.  Your USER ID should be a minimum of 6 characters and a maximum of 20, with at least 1 number and 1 letter.  Your PIN will not change.  Note that this change is permanent; you will not be asked to change your USER ID each time you sign on to Online Banking. 
 
This change will NOT affect Telephone Banking.  You will still need to use your SSN and PIN to access your accounts using Telephone Banking.
